GHOSTS launches July 5th!

Or, to be more accurate, probably in the middle of the night on July 5th. My beta reader just loved this one. She practically found nothing wrong with it. If you like absurd or silly fantasy–but with heart–I think you will, too.

Here’s the description that’s going up on Amazon:

In a darkened room of a haunted mansion, the spirit manifestation of the god All lies plastered against the ceiling. A horrible vision of a prophecy to come wracks his mind. He knows this might be his end. Or his beginning. This prophecy could change everything.

Maybe even how old he appears to be.

Stuck at the age of fifteen for over a hundred years, Emmett, aka the All, desperately wants to grow older along with his mortal girlfriend, Heather. He wishes to stop battling the Bellum, his spirit god brother, who wants to bring about the Coming End of the worlds. He’d like to just hang out with his mortal friends and have a little fun.

When his friends get tickets to a “Spirit Tour” with a local paranormal tourism business, Emmett thinks it will be a hoot.

He doesn’t expect that the guy giving the tour is a real spiritualist. Nor does he expect that this guy hunts ghosts–and destroys them with spectricity-infused knives.

If this ghost hunter gets loose in the spirit world, Emmett may not have a home to come back to. Yet how do you stop a hunter who seems to pull knives out of the very air?

There’s something very strange–and familiar–about this ghost hunter.

Emmett will have to deal with girlfriend megalomania, spirit god battles, a loose ghoul in the basement, a maze in the place of lost spirits, kriot upheaval, local authors, and worst of all, his own family.

Somehow, he will make it to Heather’s sixteenth birthday party. And how old he will be when he gets there–the All only knows.

Here, again, is the cover, slightly updated:

GODS: Spirit Gods Book Three is nearly finished, so it will follow soon on the heels of this one. I have a cover made and everything. I have been trying to get to a rewrite of Gods (which I actually wrote in 2015) for many years now, and also so I could stick an ending on it. I really don’t recall what happened with it. Something blew me off course, and I never finished writing the story. However, it’s now 90% finished and just needs a final scene and a bit of an epilogue, so I’m plugging away at it.

After which, I can finally get to editing Oskar Ottokar Chandler: Paranormal Extraordinaire of The Candle Makers series. Which nobody has ever heard of, but it’s one of the best books I’ve ever written, in addition to being a paranormal gay love triangle in the Despair ‘verse. If I had not had so many other books to rework, this one would have hit Amazon by now.

After that one, there’s Diary of a Mad Editor, the second book of The Candle Makers, and a companion book to the first.

Then it’s new territory! I’m excited about the prospect of writing ALL-NEW BOOKS, including finishing the 80s Vampire trilogy, finishing The Candle Makers trilogy, completing my short novella about a demon rock star, and maybe trying something in the military space genre.

Why? Just because I can.

Other plans include something on YouTube, but since I have a demanding temporary job at the moment–yes, I’m finally getting out of the house sometimes!–that may have to wait until after the holidays.

Cheers!
